On July 15, 2002, Mike Christensen was hired as Director of Outdoor Mentoring by Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters. In 2006, Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors was spun off as it’s own 501(c)3 non-profit. The goal has always been to recruit mentors who will spend time hunting and fishing with youth.

“I started to volunteer with Pass It On Outdoor Mentors Program in 2015 where I quickly found my true passion in mentoring through the outdoors. There is nothing sweeter and gratifying than guiding and mentoring youth in the great outdoors. I think it is our responsibility and obligation to step up and serve the youth in our community who would not otherwise be served in the outdoors.”
